Sir David Beckham celebrated another extraordinary career milestone as he unveiled his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, surrounded by his family and famous friends.
The former England captain, 51, shared a passionate kiss with his wife Victoria, 52, after she proudly took to the stage to honour her husband of 26 years. Dressed in a sophisticated navy suit, David looked emotional as Victoria embraced him in front of the cheering crowd.
Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise delivered the induction speech, marking a special moment in a friendship that began after David moved to Los Angeles to play for LA Galaxy in 2007. Eva Longoria and James Corden were also among the celebrity guests.
David’s children Romeo, Cruz and Harper attended the ceremony, accompanied by their partners. However, eldest son Brooklyn was noticeably absent, despite reportedly living only a short drive from Hollywood Boulevard.
Honoured in the Sports Entertainment category, David said he felt incredibly fortunate to receive the recognition.
He explained that his childhood ambition had simply been to play football for Manchester United and England, adding that he had never chased fame or wealth.![]()
The star also recognises David’s wider influence on American football culture and the success of Studio 99, the production company behind documentaries exploring his and Victoria’s lives.
Standing beside his new plaque with Victoria holding his hand, David smiled and gave photographers a thumbs-up — completing a proud Hollywood moment for one of Britain’s most recognisable sporting icons.
