Victoria Beckham Opens Up About Parenting and Brooklyn’s Feud: “That’s All I Really Want to Say”
Victoria Beckham has addressed the ongoing feud with her son Brooklyn for the first time since his explosive public statement earlier this year. In a rare and candid moment, the former Spice Girl briefly spoke about her approach to parenting and the family’s struggle amid the public fallout.

Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, Victoria shared, “We love our children so much. We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be.” While not directly naming Brooklyn, she acknowledged the challenges of raising children in the public eye and emphasized the importance of protecting and loving her children, despite the scrutiny they face. She added, “That’s all I really want to say about it.”
Victoria’s comments come after her 27-year-old son Brooklyn released a detailed Instagram statement in January, in which he accused his parents of attempting to damage his marriage to Nicola Peltz and “hijacking” his wedding moments, including his first dance with Nicola. Brooklyn made it clear that he no longer wished to reconcile with his family, adding that he was “standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”

In contrast, David and Victoria Beckham have continued to show signs of reaching out to their son. For Brooklyn’s 27th birthday in March, both David and Victoria posted nostalgic photographs on Instagram, each sharing fond memories of their son. Victoria shared a touching poolside photo with the caption: “Happy 27th birthday Brooklyn. I love you so much.”
Despite the ongoing family tensions, Victoria also reflected on her parenting journey with her other children — Cruz, Romeo, and Harper. She admitted that raising young adult children comes with its own set of challenges, “It’s very different from having little children,” she explained, adding, “We’re just trying to do the best we can.”

In the same interview, Victoria emphasized that the negative publicity surrounding her family had not affected her fashion business, with her brand continuing to thrive. “Ultimately, people are buying my product because the product is really good,” she said.

As the Beckham family navigates through these personal and public challenges, it remains to be seen how they will move forward, but Victoria’s words underscore the complexity of balancing fame, family, and the relentless spotlight of public life.
