Linda Robson Recovers After Life-Threatening Pancreatic Surgery
Linda Robson, the 68-year-old actress best known for Birds of a Feather and a panelist on Loose Women, has opened up about a near-death experience following major pancreatic surgery earlier this year.

The actress spent ten days in intensive care after complications from gallstones and two tumours required the removal of a significant portion of her pancreas. She also underwent a brain scan as part of her treatment. Reflecting on the ordeal, Robson admitted, “I was absolutely terrified. I genuinely thought I was going to die.”

Family and close friends were a constant support throughout the critical period, helping Robson endure one of the most challenging moments of her life. “Seeing my children’s faces kept me going,” she said. “They were always at my side, and they were amazing.”

After months of recovery, Robson has returned to public life and appeared at the Mamma Mia! The Party gala at the O2 in London, her first major engagement since surgery. “I had to step back to focus on my health, and now I’m fully recovered,” she shared. “I want to enjoy life to the fullest and feel more confident than ever.”

Robson’s resilience comes after a lifetime of health challenges, including struggles with mental health and alcohol dependency, which she has candidly discussed over the years. Her triumphant return to the spotlight underscores her determination to embrace life with renewed vigor.
