Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling Welcome Second Child in “Dramatic” Early Arrival
Television presenter Laura Whitmore and comedian husband Iain Stirling have welcomed their second child, announcing the joyful news on social media earlier this week. The 41-year-old broadcaster revealed that the newest addition to their family arrived earlier than expected in May, describing the birth as “dramatic” yet perfectly in line with the couple’s sense of humour.

Sharing a tender Instagram post featuring the tiny hand of their newborn, Whitmore wrote: “A new member has joined the game!” She also revealed that her meticulously prepared five-hour birth playlist was largely unused, with only a few songs listened to before the baby arrived.

Since the arrival of their second child, Whitmore has relished the early days of parenthood, embracing sleepless nights and the intimate moments of bonding. She described this period as a “baby bubble,” enjoying every moment with her youngest while also caring for their five-year-old daughter, Stevie Ré, born in March 2021.

Stirling, 38, shared his own joyful announcement on social media, posting a photograph of a miniature coat and matching boots, labelled “The tiniest living legend,” celebrating the newest member of the family.
The couple, married since 2020, had kept the pregnancy private for several weeks, only gradually sharing glimpses of Whitmore’s pregnancy journey online. Friends and fellow celebrities flooded the announcement with congratulations, including Zoe Ball, Amanda Abbington, and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, while others responded with heart emojis and messages of love.

With both children now in their home, Whitmore and Stirling appear to be fully embracing family life while balancing their public careers, offering fans a rare and heartwarming glimpse into their growing household.
