Jesy Nelson has thanked fans for their support as she unveiled her emotional new documentary, Jesy Nelson: Life Changing, at Sheffield DocFest.
The Prime Video series follows Jesy’s life as a mother after her twin daughters were diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy. Sharing photographs from the event, the former Little Mix singer said her heart was “so full” after finally meeting supporters.
Her appearance came shortly after former bandmate Perrie Edwards publicly discussed their long-running fallout. Perrie claimed Jesy had been difficult during their time together and said she felt the remaining Little Mix members had been unfairly portrayed as unsupportive.
Perrie also suggested reconciliation now appeared unlikely, although she admitted she would always care about Jesy.
Jesy’s sister Jade later defended her, saying the singer understood that she had been difficult at times but had also endured years of intense personal struggles.
