Gordon Ramsay has revealed that Hell’s Kitchen could finally return to British television more than two decades after its dramatic debut.
The celebrity chef, 59, said discussions were underway with ITV about reviving the hit cooking competition, possibly as a live series next year.
Ramsay said fans regularly ask him to bring the programme back, adding that he hoped to share “something exciting” soon.
The original UK version launched on ITV in 2004 and attracted around seven million viewers for its first episode. Ramsay left after the opening series, while the American edition began in 2005 and has since enjoyed more than 20 years of success.
Known for its explosive kitchen confrontations and Ramsay’s fiery outbursts, the possible reboot promises to deliver the chaos and drama that made the original a television favourite.
However, ITV has not yet officially confirmed the show’s return.
