The dancer, who first captured audiences’ hearts on Strictly from 2015 until 2023, revealed the news on Instagram on June 1, telling followers he “wouldn’t stay away long.” The announcement comes two years after his departure from the BBC ballroom show following a high-profile dispute with former celebrity partner Amanda Abbington.
“I’m so excited to be back and perform for you all again… it’s been tooo long,” Pernice wrote, adding that tickets go on sale from Friday, June 5, via his official website.
