Coleen Nolan Faces Criticism for Losing Too Much Weight After Stunning Transformation

Coleen Nolan Faces Backlash for Dramatic Weight Loss Transformation

Coleen Nolan has revealed that she’s been “attacked” by trolls after unveiling her incredible weight loss transformation, which saw the Loose Women star shed an impressive 3.5 stone. At 60, she has gone from a size 20 to a size 14, drawing both admiration and criticism from her followers.

Last year, Coleen became the new face of weight loss company Voy, which promotes fat loss jabs. However, her slimmer figure has not come without its share of controversy. Despite showing off her toned frame, Coleen shared that she’s been the target of online trolling, with some accusing her of losing “too much weight.”Coleen Nolan has said she is being 'attacked' for losing too much weight after revealing her incredible transformation

In an interview with Bella magazine, Coleen opened up about the harsh comments she’s received, saying: “I tried not to let the trolls affect me, but it was hard when they were calling me fat and all these names, because those were things I actually thought about myself. Now, people attack me for the opposite, claiming I’ve lost too much weight. I just can’t win.”While Coleen previously said she would not take fat jabs, she announced her U-turn in a social media post last October (pictured in 2022)

Despite the negativity, Coleen remains confident, stating, “I don’t mind these comments as much. I almost think, ‘thank you,’ because I needed to lose the weight.” She also admitted that she now feels “much more confident” and has learned to indulge in “one or two snacks instead of the whole packet.”

The mother-of-three has also been open about her health journey, revealing that a recent blood test showed she was pre-diabetic. This diagnosis spurred her to take action, leading her to work with Voy’s holistic weight loss program. Coleen has since expressed how the combination of medical guidance, coaching, and nutrition support has made a positive impact on her health.

While she initially swore off weight loss injections, Coleen made a public U-turn last October, endorsing Voy’s weight loss jabs such as Mounjaro and Wygovy. She emphasized that her journey is about sustainable change and healthier habits, not a quick fix.

Reflecting on her weight struggles, Coleen confessed that being pre-diabetic was a “wake-up call.” “It’s been a wake-up call to say, ‘OK, fatty, you’ve had enough snacks, step away from the fridge!'” she wrote in The Mirror. She has since cut out unhealthy snacks like chocolate and crisps, opting for a more mindful approach to her diet.

Despite the scrutiny, Coleen’s transformation is about more than just physical appearance; it’s a testament to her dedication to long-term health and a better quality of life for herself and her family.
