I’m A Celebrity winner AngryGinge has been left heartbroken after revealing that his mother’s house has been badly damaged in a fire.
The YouTube and Twitch star, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, shared the devastating update on Instagram, just days after playing in Soccer Aid.
Wearing a face mask and rubber gloves, the 24-year-old filmed himself walking through the ruined home, showing blackened walls, fire damage and debris across the floor.
He explained that he received the shocking phone call on the morning of Soccer Aid, saying his mum’s house had burned down.
AngryGinge told fans that no one had died, after many followers feared the “major family issue” he mentioned earlier was a bereavement.
Standing inside the damaged property, he said the scenes were heartbreaking and admitted the family was now trying to deal with the aftermath.
He also confirmed that his mum, Michelle Burtwistle, will be moving in with him while they figure out what happens next.
The news is especially emotional for fans who watched AngryGinge speak openly on I’m A Celebrity about his close bond with his single mother.
During his time in the jungle, he broke down in tears while missing home and has often credited his mum for supporting him through a difficult childhood.
