Molly-Mae Hague Opens Up About Struggling with Severe Anxiety While Expecting Second Child
Molly-Mae Hague, the model and entrepreneur, has bravely admitted that she is currently battling “severe anxiety” as she prepares to welcome her second child with boxer Tommy Fury. The 26-year-old, who already shares a daughter, Bambi, with Tommy, shared her emotional struggles with her fans in a candid video on her YouTube channel, revealing the toll pregnancy has taken on her mental health.
In the video, Molly-Mae, who is due to give birth in June, spoke openly about her heightened fears, which have intensified since becoming a mother. “Right now, there’s so much that scares me,” she confessed. “Since becoming a mother, I’m scared of everything – every time I leave the house, every time I get in an Uber, or when I get on a plane.”
She explained that her fears have become all-encompassing, saying, “Before, I never feared anything. All my friends used to say, ‘You’re the bravest one, the only one who’s not scared of anything.’ But now, every little thing seems like a potential threat.”
The model revealed that her anxieties have become more acute ever since she became responsible for her daughter, Bambi. “Once you’re a parent, you’re not just living for yourself anymore; you’re living for someone else. You’re constantly aware of the need to protect them,” she added. “You worry not just about keeping them safe, but about keeping yourself safe too.”
Molly-Mae recently returned from a luxurious trip to Switzerland with Tommy to celebrate his birthday, but even on this relaxing getaway, her anxiety lingered. Despite the serene surroundings at the Burgenstock Hotel and Alpine Spa, where they stayed in a stunning room overlooking Lake Lucerne, Molly-Mae shared that her mind was still clouded with worry.
“I can’t stop thinking about the bath we had in our room. It was perfect,” she admitted, reflecting on her time in the idyllic Swiss Alps. However, despite the beauty of the location, Molly-Mae could not shake the constant concern she feels for both herself and her growing family.
Amidst these personal challenges, the couple has also been preparing for the arrival of their second child, with many speculating about the name they might choose. The couple, who met on Love Island in 2019, shared their excitement earlier this year when they announced that they were expecting once again.
While the pressures of parenthood and pregnancy have been overwhelming for Molly-Mae, she remains resilient, trying to balance her business ventures with the demands of family life.
