Amy Hart Announces the Early Arrival of Baby Boy and Shares Heartfelt Moment with Older Son Stanley
Amy Hart, 33, has joyfully announced the early arrival of her second child, a baby boy, with husband Sam Rason. The former Love Island star shared the exciting news on Instagram, along with a heartwarming photo of the newborn meeting his older brother Stanley, who is now two years old.
In the touching post, Amy revealed that their little one, who remains unnamed, arrived earlier than expected, weighing a healthy 8lbs 6oz. Amy wrote: “Another Beautiful Boy To Love. He is just gorgeous and we are so in love already! Fortunately, our day walking around the farm may have brought him early, as at 8lbs 6oz, not sure three more weeks were needed.”
Stanley, Amy’s first child, is already completely enamoured with his baby brother. “Stanley is completely besotted with his little brother and can’t wait for him to join his basketball team!” she shared, with a humorous and loving tone.
Despite the joy, Amy and Sam’s journey to parenthood has not been without its challenges. After two miscarriages, the couple had understandably been apprehensive when they learned they were expecting once again. Amy previously shared with Daily Mail how anxiety had clouded her pregnancy, explaining that it had been a difficult journey to conceive, and Sam had been particularly anxious throughout the process.
“The second time we got pregnant, we were like ‘woohoo,’” Amy recalled. “But then we had a miscarriage again. So the third time, we just thought, ‘Okay, let’s move on, carry on with our lives as normal,’ and not think about it too much.”
Amy’s announcement has been met with an outpouring of love and congratulations from friends, fans, and fellow stars. Coronation Street’s Samia Longchambon called the news “beautiful,” and Gogglebox’s Joe Bagg added, “OMG, congratulations, Amy.”
Throughout her pregnancy, Amy has also been vocal about handling mum-shaming trolls who criticized her parenting choices. She shared her determination to trust herself more as she raises her children. “When I had Stanley, everyone was like, ‘Oh, you’re doing this wrong, you’re doing this wrong.’ I was like, ‘Do you want me to leave him hungry? I’m confused,’” Amy reflected. “Now, Stanley is healthy, happy, and loves life. This time, I just trust myself more and ignore the noise.”
In her Instagram post, Amy gave a glimpse into her growing family’s future, saying, “So much to catch you all up on, as always it’s never drama free! Sam, Amy, Stanley and… NoNameYet xxx”
Congratulations to Amy, Sam, and their growing family!
