Sophie Kasaei Shares Emotional Easter Reunion After Boyfriend’s Battle With Meningitis
Reality TV star Sophie Kasaei has shared an emotional moment with fans after finally celebrating Easter at home with her boyfriend Jordan Brook, who was recently discharged from hospital following a serious battle with meningitis.
The Geordie Shore star, 36, described the day as deeply meaningful after Brook, 31, returned home following 22 days in hospital, where he was treated for the life-threatening illness that left him temporarily unable to walk.

An Emotional Reunion
In photos shared on social media, Kasaei can be seen kissing Brook while the couple place their hands on her growing baby bump. The pair are expecting their first child together, a baby boy due in mid-June.
Kasaei said watching Brook walk out of the hospital felt as though “her whole world had come back.” She described the past few weeks as the most difficult period they had ever faced together.
“He never stopped fighting—not just for himself, but for us, for our family, and for the little boy growing inside me,” she wrote.

A Severe Health Crisis
Brook was diagnosed with viral meningitis and encephalitis, a serious condition that doctors reportedly described as one of the most severe cases they had encountered. The illness caused brain swelling, severe memory loss and left him needing a wheelchair during his hospital stay.
Speaking to followers after being discharged, Brook said many of the memories he retained from the ordeal were ones he wished he could forget.
He also expressed gratitude to his family and to the NHS medical staff who supported him throughout his treatment and, as he put it, “saved my life.”

Looking Ahead
After weeks of uncertainty, Kasaei said she felt incredibly grateful that Brook was able to return home in time for Easter. The couple now hope he will continue recovering in the coming months, ideally regaining his full strength before their son arrives.

Following a two-year emotional journey toward starting a family, the couple are now looking forward to a new chapter—one they hope will begin with better health and a fresh start.
