Astrologer and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Russell Grant, 75, has shared an update with his fans, revealing he is back in hospital for further tests following his 2022 brain tumor surgery. In a tweet posted on March 18, 2026, Russell called it a “big brain tumor day” and informed followers that he is undergoing tests and scans related to his ongoing recovery.

Fans and friends quickly flooded the comments section with messages of support and well wishes. Notable figures, including presenter Richard Bacon, wished him luck, with comments like “Good luck with everything, Russell” and “Sending lots of love and positive vibes.”
Russell had previously undergone surgery in December 2022 to remove a slow-growing pituitary gland tumor, which had been threatening his eyesight. The surgery, which took five hours, was successful, but the recovery process has been long, with Russell facing lingering health issues, including fatigue and a recurrence of type-2 diabetes.

Reflecting on his journey, Russell emphasized how his diagnosis has made him more appreciative of life, saying, “Every day is precious,” and adding that he strives to live meaningfully for both himself and others.
In January 2025, Russell faced another health scare when doctors discovered a bleed behind his eye. Fortunately, the bleed did not cause damage to his retina, though he noted there is no cure for the condition.

As Russell continues to undergo tests, his supporters remain hopeful for a positive outcome. The ongoing support from fans and fellow celebrities demonstrates the strong community surrounding the beloved astrologer.
