According to an official statement posted on Instagram, the singer had to withdraw from the show on the advice of doctors after being diagnosed with an acute upper respiratory infection and laryngitis, leaving him unable to perform.

Despite travelling to the venue and making every effort to go ahead with the concert, Rod Stewart ultimately made the difficult decision to cancel due to his condition.

😢 “I did everything I could”

In a follow-up post, Rod shared a photo of himself on stage as crews began dismantling equipment, alongside a heartfelt message to fans.

He explained that although he had undergone treatment and was feeling physically better, his voice had not recovered sufficiently, making it impossible to deliver the performance.

The veteran singer apologised sincerely to fans, saying he had done everything possible to make the show happen and hoped to reschedule the concert at a later date.

⚠️ Not the first recent cancellation

The repeated cancellations have sparked concern among fans, especially as he continues his “One Last Time” tour across the United States.
