LEE ANDREWS RELEASED FROM DUBAI PRISON AS KATIE PRICE SPEAKS OUT AMID ONGOING QUESTIONS
The husband of British television personality Katie Price, Lee Andrews, has reportedly been released from Al Awir prison in Dubai after approximately four weeks in custody, according to sources familiar with the situation.
Reports indicate that Andrews was freed on Friday and made contact with his wife shortly after his release via video call.
Authorities in the United Arab Emirates have dismissed earlier claims suggesting espionage, stating instead that the case relates to a private civil matter involving alleged financial irregularities, including concerns over unpaid or bounced cheques.
Following his release, Katie Price said she was “relieved, but still has a lot of questions” about the circumstances surrounding her husband’s detention, disappearance, and subsequent return.
The incident began in mid-May when Andrews was reported missing, prompting concern from his family and public speculation. He was later located in custody at Al Awir prison in Dubai.
Sources also claim Andrews had been subject to travel restrictions prior to his detention, and that his case involved ongoing legal and financial disputes in the UAE.
Friends close to the couple have reportedly urged Price to reconsider the future of the relationship amid growing scrutiny and unanswered questions.
