Patrick Mahomes and wife Brittany have celebrated his record-breaking Kansas City Chiefs contract extension with a joyful collection of family photographs.
The superstar quarterback reportedly agreed to a reworked deal worth $504.75 million, keeping him in Kansas City through at least the 2033 season.
With the landmark agreement making Patrick the highest-paid player in NFL history by total contract value, the Mahomes family marked the occasion together at the Chiefs’ facility.
Brittany shared photographs of herself, Patrick and their three children dressed in the team’s famous red.
“Red is our color and Kansas City is our home,” the 30-year-old wrote.
The Mahomes family wears Chiefs red
In the main family photograph, Patrick and Brittany posed alongside daughter Sterling Skye, five, son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, three, and 16-month-old daughter Golden Raye.
Other images showed Patrick holding Sterling on his hip as the pair smiled for the camera.
Golden was pictured playing on a table, while another photograph captured Patrick and Brittany enjoying a quieter moment together as a couple.
The Chiefs responded warmly beneath Brittany’s post, writing that Chiefs Kingdom was lucky to have the Mahomes family and congratulating them on the historic agreement.
Patrick’s parents also joined the celebration.
His mother, Randi Mahomes, left a series of heart emojis, while his father, former baseball player Pat Mahomes Sr., wrote: “Proud of my family. Love y’all.”
“We are here to stay”
Patrick shared his own post celebrating the extension, combining the new family photographs with images from the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victories.
“Chiefs Kingdom! We are here to stay!” he wrote.
The quarterback thanked Kansas City and its supporters for standing beside him and his family throughout his career.
He also warned that the team’s work was far from finished.
“We ain’t done yet,” Patrick added, suggesting that his sights remain firmly fixed on winning more championships.
The message will excite Chiefs fans who have watched Mahomes lead the franchise through its most successful modern era.
Since becoming Kansas City’s starting quarterback in 2018, he has guided the team to five Super Bowl appearances and three titles.
A record-breaking commitment
The Chiefs selected Mahomes with the 10th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, a decision that transformed the future of the franchise.
His new agreement reportedly runs through the 2033 season and could be worth even more through incentives and contract escalators.
The deal represents an extraordinary commitment from the Chiefs, but Mahomes’ accomplishments have already placed him among the most successful quarterbacks in NFL history.
He has won multiple Most Valuable Player awards, delivered unforgettable postseason comebacks and become the face of both Kansas City and the wider league.
The contract also confirms that the Chiefs intend to build their future around him for many more years.
Kansas City has become home
For Brittany, the celebration was about more than the enormous financial figures.
She and Patrick have built their family life in Kansas City, where their children are growing up surrounded by Chiefs Kingdom.
Brittany has also established her own connection to the city as a co-owner of the Kansas City Current women’s soccer team.
The couple’s photographs presented the contract as a family milestone rather than simply a sporting transaction.
Patrick is staying with the only NFL franchise he has ever represented.
Brittany is staying in the community she now calls home.
And their children will continue growing up with red as the defining colour of their football lives.
Family life during the offseason
Away from the contract celebrations, Patrick and Brittany have been enjoying the offseason with their three children.
The family recently visited a Texas farm, where Patrick fed animals and went kayaking with the children.
They have also shared photographs from a tropical family holiday, with all five members wearing matching red outfits.
Brittany has joked that life has become especially hectic during her second summer as a mother of three.
She recently revealed that Sterling and Bronze had been signed up for a packed schedule of activities, including soccer, golf, tennis, T-ball, dance and gymnastics.
Describing herself as almost every kind of sporting parent imaginable, Brittany joked: “We don’t sit still.”
Patrick’s comeback continues
The contract celebration also arrives as Patrick continues working back from the serious knee injury he suffered last December.
The quarterback has been rehabilitating after an ACL tear, with the Chiefs remaining cautious about confirming exactly when he will return to full action.
Despite the uncertainty, Mahomes has participated in offseason work and has repeatedly expressed his desire to be ready for the new season.
Kansas City’s willingness to hand him such a historic agreement demonstrates its confidence in both his recovery and long-term future.
The Chiefs are not treating his injury as the end of an era.
They are betting that Mahomes still has many championship seasons ahead of him.
The next Mahomes chapter
The value of Patrick’s deal will dominate the headlines, but the family photographs offered a more personal image of what the agreement means.
Sterling smiled in her father’s arms.
Golden explored the Chiefs facility.
Bronze stood beside the quarterback whose name he carries.
And Brittany celebrated the city that has become central to their lives.
For Patrick Mahomes, the contract is a reward for everything he has achieved.
For the Chiefs, it is a commitment to their most important player.
For the Mahomes family, it is confirmation that Kansas City will remain home.
As Patrick made clear, they are here to stay — and they do not believe the winning is finished yet.
