Danniella Westbrook has revealed she still faces six more procedures over the next 18 months as she continues her long journey to repair her face.
The former EastEnders star, 52, recently travelled to Dubai for major reconstructive surgery, including a face, neck and brow lift, as well as work on her lips and nose.
Speaking openly about the process, Danniella said she is preparing for another operation this week, which will involve rebuilding part of her cheekbone with metal support after years of medical complications.
She admitted the journey has been frightening and emotional, saying she still struggles to look in the mirror at times.
Danniella has previously undergone several operations after damage linked to past drug use and osteoporosis. Despite harsh online trolling, she says she is focused on recovery, sobriety and rebuilding her confidence.
The actress also shared that she is single, happy and hopeful about the future, adding that every day she wakes up is a victory after everything she has survived.
