Hawkstone Farmers Choir Make History as Britain’s Got Talent 2026 Winners
The Hawkstone Farmers Choir has become the first-ever choir to win Britain’s Got Talent, taking home the £250,000 grand prize and a coveted spot at the Royal Variety Performance in London this November. The 32-member group, backed by television personality Jeremy Clarkson, narrowly defeated the drone performance act Celestial in a tense finale at Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly announced the winners to a cheering audience, while Clarkson, who founded the choir in 2024 as part of a campaign promoting his Hawkstone ale brand, was visibly emotional. “We are the first choir to win BGT,” said choir leader Katrina Hawkstone. “This victory is for all farmers and anyone facing challenges—don’t be afraid to speak up.”

The live finale featured ten acts performing for judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and KSI. Highlights included a medley by girl group Mis-Teeq, marking their 25th anniversary, and extraordinary performances from magicians, acrobats, and dancers. Despite predictions from bookmakers favoring poet Sonny Green, he ultimately finished sixth.

The Hawkstone Farmers Choir will now take their historic performance to the Royal Variety stage, marking a landmark moment for both the group and the show itself, celebrated for showcasing diverse talent and inspiring audiences across the UK.
