Pregnant Sophie Kasaei Films Final Towie Scenes As She Counts Down To First Baby
Sophie Kasaei has filmed her final scenes for The Only Way Is Essex as she prepares to welcome her first child in the coming weeks.
The former Geordie Shore star, 36, is expecting a baby boy with her partner and Towie co-star Jordan Brook. As her due date approaches, Sophie is set to step away from filming to focus on the arrival of their son.
The reality television personality marked the moment on Tuesday as she appeared on set in Essex, proudly showing off her baby bump during what is expected to be one of her last filming days before giving birth.
Sophie looked stylish in a figure-hugging beige jumpsuit that highlighted her growing bump. She completed the look with oversized pale pink aviator sunglasses, loose brunette waves and natural make-up with a soft pink lip.
Sharing a glimpse from the day, Sophie also joked about one of her pregnancy cravings, writing that she was eating fish at 11am.
Her pregnancy journey has formed part of recent Towie storylines, with viewers seeing the emotional side of her experience. In one scene, Sophie broke down in tears while speaking openly to her co-stars about the difficulties she had faced during pregnancy.
Sitting in her pyjamas with her reality TV friends, she admitted that she had been struggling and said she believed it was important to be honest about that side of motherhood.
“I’m struggling and I think we should be open about it,” she said through tears. Sophie added that she had found comfort in speaking to other women who had experienced similar feelings, admitting that pregnancy hormones had been hard to manage.
Lauren Goodger, who is also part of the Essex reality world and is mother to daughter Larose, offered words of reassurance, reminding Sophie that the difficult emotions would not last forever.
Sophie’s pregnancy has been especially meaningful after she previously endured two years of fertility struggles before conceiving. Her journey towards motherhood has been emotional for both her and Jordan, who recently faced his own serious health scare.
Jordan was left unable to walk after a frightening battle with meningitis, but he is now recovering at home with Sophie as the couple prepare for their baby’s arrival.
With just weeks to go, Sophie’s final filming scenes mark the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. After years in reality television, the star is now preparing for her most personal role yet — becoming a mother for the first time.
