Donna also took a moment to thank the hospice team at Wansbeck Hospital, who supported her family through the difficult final months. “I am so grateful to the palliative care team at Wansbeck Hospital, who became our second home for the last six months, and to the kindness and support of our dear friends,” Donna expressed.

Concluding her message, Donna wrote: “But above all, I am grateful to you, Dad. For the life you gave me, the sacrifices you made, the memories we shared, and for fighting so hard so that we could have more moments together.”
