Scarlett Moffatt Reveals the Struggles of Her First Trimester in Candid Pregnancy Update

Scarlett Moffatt, known for her appearance on Gogglebox and her time on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, has shared a candid update about her pregnancy struggles, describing the first trimester as “hell” due to the severe symptoms she experienced. The 35-year-old star opened up to her fans on social media, posting a selfie from her bed, looking visibly exhausted, and explaining that the “glow” many had noticed was in fact a facade, as she endured sickness, migraines, and extreme fatigue.

“I’ve been driving to jobs, having mini sicks, filming with hot and cold flushes, and battling migraines. It was tough,” she revealed. “So now, I’m accepting the compliments, lol, thank you to everyone who said I’m glowing!”

Moffatt, who is expecting her second child with fiancé Scott Dobinson, also shared that she began showing at around 14 weeks and joked about her insatiable cravings for cheese. “Every form of cheese, I want it,” she quipped.

The couple, who have been together since 2018, announced their pregnancy just over a week ago in an emotional video, with their son, Jude, excitedly sharing the news that he would soon be a “big brother.” Scarlett described their growing family as a “miracle” and expressed immense gratitude for their journey, saying, “One little miracle gave us Jude, and now he’s going to be the most amazing big brother.”

This pregnancy announcement holds special significance for Scarlett and Scott, given their difficult fertility journey. The pair had spent four years trying to conceive their first child, with Scarlett revealing that she discovered she was pregnant just one day before attending her first IVF consultation.

In an earlier interview with I’m A Celebrity campmates, Scarlett spoke about the emotional toll of trying to start a family. “When all you want is a family, it’s hard when it doesn’t come naturally. You question yourself—will it ever happen?” she said. “It just makes life feel heavier.”
