🎉 Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash gave fans a glimpse of pure family joy as they transformed their beloved Pickle Cottage into a colourful summer paradise for son Rex’s seventh birthday.
The couple pulled out all the stops for the special day, turning the garden of their Essex home into a dream pool-party setup filled with giant inflatables, balloons, sunshine and laughter. And judging by the sweet photos Stacey shared online, little Rex had a birthday celebration he will never forget 💙
The former X Factor star, 36, posted a series of heartwarming snaps showing the family pool packed with bright floats shaped like fruit, unicorns and flamingos. The garden was decorated with shimmering foil balloons and a mirrored photo backdrop, creating the perfect party scene for the children to splash, play and make memories.

Rex looked delighted as he enjoyed the water with his younger siblings Rose, four, and Belle, three, while the whole celebration carried the warm, chaotic, joy-filled feeling that fans have come to love about life at Pickle Cottage ✨
The birthday was made even more special because Rex shared the day with his cousin Mila, who was celebrating turning 11. Mila is the daughter of Stacey’s sister Jemma, and the joint party appeared to be a beautiful family affair packed with love, fun and plenty of proud-parent moments.
In a touching tribute, Stacey wrote: “I cannot believe you’re 7, Rex. Where did that time go? 7 wonderful years of you.”
She also added a sweet message for Mila, calling her “such a special lady” and writing: “TO THE MOON AND BACK Mila & Rexy.”
Fans immediately flooded the comments with love, praising the family for creating such a magical day.
“Looks amazing,” one follower wrote. “Family is everything.”

Another added that Rex and Mila looked as though they had “the most incredible day surrounded by the best people.” ❤️
For many fans, the photos were exactly the kind of wholesome family update they love most from Stacey. No glamour. No red carpet. Just children laughing in the pool, cousins celebrating together and parents doing everything they can to make childhood feel magical.
The joyful party came after a period of public speculation surrounding Stacey and Joe’s marriage, with recent reports claiming the couple have not yet formally registered their union despite their emotional 2022 wedding celebration at Pickle Cottage.
But insiders have suggested the delay is nothing dramatic, pointing out that the couple have been busy raising their large blended family and juggling work, filming and parenthood.
“They have six kids,” a source said. “It was just like a whirlwind, baby after baby. They just haven’t got round to it yet.”
The family has also faced rumours of tension while filming their reality series Stacey & Joe, though production has since resumed. The BBC has confirmed the show will return for a third season, continuing to follow the couple’s busy life at Pickle Cottage with their children.
And if these birthday photos prove anything, it is that family remains right at the centre of Stacey and Joe’s world 💖

Through every headline and every rumour, Stacey continues to share the moments that matter most: birthdays, milestones, sibling laughter, homemade magic and the beautiful mess of raising a big family.
Rex’s seventh birthday was not just a pool party.
It was a celebration of childhood, love, family bonds and the kind of memories that children carry forever.
And judging by the smiles, balloons and sunshine at Pickle Cottage, Stacey and Joe gave their little boy a day filled with everything that truly matters 🎉✨
