In a heartfelt post on Monday, President Donald Trump revealed that his White House Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer. Trump, who has worked closely with Wiles for years, shared the news via a message on Truth Social, emphasizing her strength and commitment in the face of the challenging diagnosis.

“SUSIE WILES is an incredible Chief of Staff, a great person, and one of the strongest people I know but, unfortunately, she has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer,” Trump wrote. “She has decided to take on this challenge IMMEDIATELY, as opposed to waiting. She has a fantastic medical team, and her prognosis is excellent!”
Trump further commended Wiles’ dedication to her role, confirming she would continue working at the White House during her treatment. “During the treatment period, she will be spending virtually full time at the White House, which makes me, as President, very happy!” Trump added. “Her strength and her commitment to continue doing the job she loves, and does so well, while undergoing treatment, tells you everything you need to know about her.”

Susie Wiles has been a key figure in Trump’s inner circle, playing a vital role in the success of his 2024 campaign. Her leadership has helped to keep the White House better organized than during Trump’s tumultuous first term, earning her a reputation as an indispensable advisor.
Wiles, 52, informed Trump of her diagnosis after learning about it last week. In a statement to the New York Times, she expressed her gratitude for her medical team, who caught the cancer early. “I am grateful to have an outstanding team of doctors who detected the cancer early and are guiding my care, and I am encouraged by a strong prognosis,” Wiles said. “I am also deeply thankful for the support and encouragement of President Trump as I undergo treatment and continue serving in my current role.”

The day after the announcement, Wiles was seen wearing a symbolic pink blazer, a nod to breast cancer awareness, as she sat beside the President at a luncheon for the Trump Kennedy Center board members. While the President did not make her diagnosis the focal point of the event, he took a moment to praise her toughness and commitment. “Susie, as one of my closest and most important advisors, is tough and deeply committed to serving the American people,” Trump said. “She will soon be better than ever!”

First Lady Melania Trump also expressed her support, stating that both she and the President were “with her in every way.” The Trumps, along with Wiles’ colleagues, are hopeful that she will make a full recovery and continue contributing to the President’s work.

As Wiles begins her treatment, both the White House and her supporters are rallying around her, reinforcing the importance of her leadership and resilience during this challenging time.
