“Stacey & Joe Return for Third Series – Chaos, Love, and a Dream Fishing Lake Await!”

BBC Confirms Third Series of Stacey & Joe Is Coming to BBC One and iPlayer

BBC Factual has confirmed that Stacey & Joe will return for a third series, offering viewers another deep dive into the warm chaos of family life at Pickle Cottage. This time, Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash juggle their busiest chapter yet, with five children, a house full of animals, and a household brimming with energy.Composite image of a man and woman (Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon) standing together smiling and hugging, set against the backdrop of a large hole that's been dug in a field

The new series expands beyond the cottage gates as Joe embarks on his long-held dream: opening his very own fishing lake and glamping site. What starts as a personal passion project for Joe quickly turns into a full family affair, with Stacey’s creativity, the kids’ energy, and the wider family all pitching in to make it a success.A man in a high vis jacket sits in a digger looking delighted

Joe’s dream isn’t just about business—he hopes the fishing lake will provide a therapeutic space, especially for young people struggling with mental health issues and ADHD. Across three episodes, viewers will follow the ups and downs of Joe’s vision, as the family works together to make it a reality, culminating in the grand opening of the lake.A woman in a high vis vest and hard hat stands outside in the sunshine looking at something out of shot

Stacey and Joe, reflecting on the series, say: “If you watched the first series, you’ll know we’ve been talking about the lakes for ages… it feels a bit surreal to finally see it coming to life. With the juggle of family life thrown in, we’re learning as we go, so we’ll be just as surprised as everyone else to see how it all unfolds! A huge thank you to everyone who has watched Stacey & Joe so far. We’re so grateful and can’t wait for you to see this next series.”

Beejal-Maya Patel, BBC Commissioning Editor, shared her excitement about the return: “I am so excited that we are back at Pickle Cottage for the third outing of the hugely popular Stacey and Joe. It’s such a treat to spend time with their family in all its chaos, joy, and glory. No family is perfect, but the Solomon-Swashes remind us just how much fun the juggle and balancing act can be and is all the more refreshing for it.”

Executive Producer Charlotte Brookes also expressed her delight: “We’re absolutely delighted to be returning to Pickle Cottage this summer. Stacey and Joe bring their unique blend of warmth and humour to everything they do, and we can’t wait to follow them as they take on Joe’s ambitious dream of creating a fishing lake together.”

Stacey & Joe, a 3×60’ series, will air on BBC One and iPlayer this summer, produced by Optomen Television, an All3Media company. The series is commissioned by Clare Sillery, the former Head of Commissioning for Documentaries, with Executive Producers Charlotte Brookes and Rebecca McLaughlin, Series Producer Katja Bojic-Macintosh, and Series Director Tom Yeates. The Commissioning Editor is Beejal-Maya Patel, and All3Media will handle global distribution.
