Scarlett Moffatt has shared heartwarming news: she and fiancé Scott Dobinson are expecting their second child, and it’s another boy. The 35-year-old TV star, who welcomed son Jude in 2023, revealed to the Mirror that she has always hoped for a brother for her firstborn.
“All my family and friends knew I wanted another boy,” Scarlett said. “Of course it would’ve been wonderful to have a girl – a healthy baby is all that matters – but my preference was a boy, to give Jude a brother. I’m just so happy for him. He’s got someone to share his life with now.”
The I’m A Celebrity star had first announced her pregnancy on Instagram, sharing a heartwarming clip holding the ultrasound alongside Scott and Jude. Fans also joined in a fun poll to guess the baby’s gender, inspired by Scarlett’s high bump and her growing craving for cheese — from toasties to scones.
Scarlett candidly admitted that her first trimester had been tough. “The first trimester was HELL lol,” she joked, recalling mini-sickness, hot and cold flushes, and migraines while juggling filming and work commitments. Yet her gratitude shone through: “Our hearts are fuller than we ever thought possible.”
This joyful announcement follows Scarlett’s challenging four-year fertility journey before welcoming Jude in June 2023. Now, as she prepares to expand her family, fans can share in her excitement for another little miracle on the way.
