The ceremony took place in Kemble, a quiet village about 17 minutes from Gatcombe Park and 14 minutes from Highgrove, King Charles’ country residence. HELLO!’s Deputy Beauty and Lifestyle Editor, Melanie Macleod, noted that the village’s charm perfectly suited the understated character of this branch of the royal family, who opted against royal titles. “Kemble is built from golden Cotswolds stone and reflects the low-key, humble nature of this arm of the family,” she said.
Friends of the couple confirmed that the location held deep personal significance, describing it as “an area where they grew up and is very special to them both.”
Exclusive Guest List
Peter and Harriet kept their guest list relatively small, focusing on close family and friends. Among the attendees were King Charles III and Queen Camilla, though they had to leave early for the Epsom Derby. Prince William and Princess Catherine were also present, alongside Zara and Mike Tindall.
