The TV personality, 52, who has completed a 75-day weight-loss challenge, revealed how he  'hit rock bottom' before overhauling his life as he fronted the April edition of Men¿s Health UKThe photoshoot, which shows Paddy in black joggers while lifting a 20kg plate, wasn’t just about flaunting his muscles. The comedian explained he wanted to inspire other regular guys to realize that a body transformation is attainable at any age. “At 52, I wanted to show other blokes that it’s possible,” Paddy said.

Paddy admitted to struggling with binge eating and making unhealthy food choices, often washing it down with beer and snacks. I don’t recommend it, but for me personally, I thought, ‘I’ll see if I can get myself out of it,’” he revealed.

There are zero cheat days, and failure to follow any of the rules means starting the program from day one again.

In the accompanying photoshoot, he wore a pair of black jogging bottoms and posed with a 20kg plate in hopes to show 'other blokes it's attainable'For Paddy, this meant saying goodbye to his two-month binge-eating habit and adopting an extreme level of discipline. “The best advice if you’re doing a challenge like that is, don’t do too much straight away,” Paddy explained. “I smashed myself to pieces for the first two weeks and literally couldn’t get out of bed. But eventually, I started training a bit differently.”

The comedian’s decision to tackle the 75 Hard challenge stemmed from a place of boredom and a desire for self-improvement. Paddy, who previously raised £7.5 million for charity during a Children In Need challenge, used the experience as motivation.

He devoured a curry and milkshake to mark the end of his fitness journey, but it didn’t quite meet his expectations. “I ate it, but I didn’t get from it what I thought I was going to get. I just felt like crap,” he admitted, adding that it changed something in his brain, particularly regarding his habits.
