Nikki Sanderson Welcomes Baby Boy with Partner Anthony Quinlan: A Joyous New Beginning!
Nikki Sanderson, beloved for her role on Coronation Street, has announced the arrival of her first child with partner Anthony Quinlan. The actress, 42, shared the heartwarming news on Instagram, revealing that their baby boy was born a few days earlier than expected, just before his due date.
On Saturday, Nikki posted an adorable picture of their newborn son, whose name has yet to be revealed, with the caption: “Hello world.” She continued: “Happy due date little man. You blessed our lives a few days earlier than expected and filled our world with so much joy. Daddy and Mummy love you so much Son.”
The post quickly garnered an outpouring of love from Nikki’s famous friends. Denise Welch expressed her excitement, commenting: “Nikki!!! Omg!! You’re a mummy. We’re so happy for you both xxx.” Fellow Strictly star Gorka Marquez also joined in with: “OMG, BEST NEWS GUYS ❤️❤️.” Hollyoaks’ Jessica Fox added, “Massive congratulations! Well done everybody! ❤️.”

In an interview, Nikki had previously expressed how she felt subconsciously sure she was going to have a boy, with family members sharing the same feeling. “Anthony’s thrilled because he’s going to have a mini Manchester United sidekick!” she shared with Closer.
Nikki’s pregnancy had its share of ups and downs, with cravings for sweet food and bouts of morning sickness. Despite the challenges, Nikki beamed with joy throughout her pregnancy, saying, “We’re happy to say it’s going to be a lovely little spring baby.”
Anthony, who now runs his own online PT and supplements business, also expressed his excitement: “I can’t wait till we’re a little team of three. I want to shout it from the rooftops!” The couple, who began dating in early 2022, have been overjoyed with the new addition to their family.
Their journey together has been filled with love and laughter, as Anthony fondly recalls: “I’ve always fancied her. She’s mega hot, right?” He went on to describe how they first met, saying, “We’ve known each other for years… There were rumours we met at the gym, which we had a bit of a laugh about. I slid into the DMs and that was it.”
