Nadiya Bychkova Eyes Strictly Comeback After Shock Axe

Nadiya Bychkova has revealed she could return to Strictly Come Dancing after being dramatically dropped from the professional line-up.

The Ukrainian dancer, 36, left fans stunned earlier this year when she was axed as part of a major BBC shake-up, alongside several other long-serving pros.

But in her first interview since the news, Nadiya confirmed she is already in talks with producers about a possible comeback — not as a competing professional, but as a choreographer.

Speaking to Hello!, she said returning to Strictly is “absolutely” on the cards, adding that discussions are taking place about her creating professional group numbers in the future.

Nadiya said choreography has always been one of her biggest passions and that producers have known for years how much she loves building stories through dance.

She also gave her backing to the show’s new presenting line-up, which reportedly includes Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and former Strictly pro Johannes Radebe.

Praising Johannes, Nadiya said audiences connect with his warmth, joy and authenticity, adding that it is “wonderful” to see dancers given the chance to grow beyond one role.

Although she admitted the end of her Strictly chapter was emotional, Nadiya insisted it also felt positive, describing it as the start of a new era.

Her next move could be a huge one, with reports claiming she is in advanced talks to join I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

ITV bosses are said to be impressed by her, with insiders claiming she is high on their wish list now that she is no longer tied to Strictly.

Nadiya joined Strictly nine years ago and became known for her elegance, artistry and calm presence on the ballroom floor.

Despite her exit, she has made it clear this may not be goodbye forever — and fans could yet see her Strictly magic return in a whole new way.
