Millie Radford Shares Struggles of Fourth Pregnancy on 22 Kids and Counting
April 11, 2026 – Millie Radford, star of 22 Kids and Counting, has opened up about the challenges she faced during her fourth pregnancy with husband Harley Passmore.
The 24-year-old, who is the seventh child of Sue and Noel Radford, revealed that her pregnancy came as a surprise, as she and Harley had not planned for another baby. However, she described the news as an “exciting surprise,” and her husband was particularly thrilled to add another son to the family, joining their three children: Chester, four, Ophelia, five, and Elodie, two.
The baby is expected to arrive in late September, though an early labor could bring the arrival forward to the beginning of the month.
Millie shared that the first few weeks of pregnancy were especially difficult, with severe symptoms that significantly impacted her ability to work and manage daily tasks. “The first eight to ten weeks were really tough,” she told The Mirror. “It was a real shock to the system.”
Her pregnancy is classified as high-risk due to complications from her previous delivery, which has required her to visit the hospital every two weeks for regular check-ups. Millie explained that her youngest daughter, Elodie, had an abnormally fast heart rate and calcified placenta, which caused the organ to stop functioning properly.
“My body just couldn’t cope earlier than expected,” Millie said, adding that Elodie was born at 38 weeks.
Given the risks, medical professionals are closely monitoring Millie’s pregnancy, with the possibility of inducing labor two weeks before the due date.
Despite the concerns surrounding her pregnancy, Millie confirmed that this would definitely be her last, stating that both she and Harley planned to undergo permanent contraception after the birth of their son.
“Four kids is definitely enough. I think I’ll be busy enough,” she said.
Earlier this year, Millie and Harley briefly separated, a period Millie described as “crazy” due to the timing of the event.
