Over Christmas, Mel began experiencing severe headaches and numbness down her right side. After further testing, it was revealed that the cancer had now reached her brain, and despite undergoing radiation therapy, doctors have confirmed there is no more they can do.

Mel shared her heartbreaking truth on Instagram: “My light is starting to fade—and quickly,” she wrote, reflecting on the difficult news. “But I am still here, still fighting, and surrounded by the most incredible love.”
