Megan McKenna Confirms Baby No.2 on the Way with Oliver Burke – And She’s Already Convinced It’s Another Boy!

Inside Megan McKenna's fairy-tale WAG wedding

Megan McKenna has just dropped a bombshell that’s bound to have fans buzzing: the TOWIE star and her husband, footballer Oliver Burke, are expecting their second child! And while the couple is still basking in the joy of their 18-month-old son Landon, Megan already has a strong hunch about their growing family. Is it another boy? According to Megan, it’s practically a guarantee!

In a candid and emotional chat at the Ideal Home Show in Olympia London, Megan, 33, revealed her deep sense of excitement about expanding her family, while also joking about her “destiny” as a ‘boy mum.’ With a big smile and even bigger dreams, she shared how she’s come to embrace her life in football and the whirlwind that came with Landon’s early love for the game.

“I don’t know what it is, but when I do have another baby, I feel like I’m going to have another boy. I think I’m a boy mum, and I love that,” Megan said, laughing. “I feel like I’m going to be at the football every weekend, freezing. Landon just loves playing with the ball, and obviously his dad loves football, so this is my life now.”

Life in football isn’t all Megan’s been focusing on. The star, who divides her time between London and Berlin after Oliver signed with Union Berlin in 2025, has become a huge online sensation, especially with her cooking clips. But her journey to motherhood hasn’t been without its struggles, including dealing with a wheat allergy and coeliac disease, which made it tough for her to find safe foods for herself.

But even as she’s been raising her son, Megan’s life has been far from simple. She revealed the challenges she faces as a working mother: “Ollie does the washing up when we’re in Germany. But when I’m here in England, I have to do it all on my own. It’s the worst when I’m filming my dish, then I have to edit, put Landon to bed, get myself ready for bed, and then face my kitchen, which is a disaster. Thank God for dishwashers!”

Yet, it’s not just the domestic duties that have kept Megan on her toes. She’s also faced criticism from trolls, most notably in a jaw-dropping public clash with Masterchef star Bernice Marie. After Bernice’s shocking comment about Landon’s development, accusing Megan of being a “bad mum” for her son not yet crawling at nearly one, the former TOWIE star wasn’t having any of it.

Megan fired back in a now-iconic Instagram story: “I just think this mum-shaming needs to stop. It’s absolutely ridiculous.” Defiantly, Megan stated that Landon was “on the verge, moving and on his knees,” making it clear that every child grows at their own pace. She went on to slam the negativity she faced, saying that mums like Bernice, who have been on TV, should know better than to judge other parents.

The backlash was swift and loud, with Megan’s loyal fans rushing to her defense. One fan even wrote, “I can’t believe anyone who’s followed you since you had Landon would call you a bad mum. Your devotion to that little boy shines through!” Another fan added, “Keep doing you! It’s clear your love for Landon is unmatched.”

Megan’s words and actions serve as a powerful reminder to all the “mum-shamers” out there: no one knows what’s best for a child better than the parents themselves. And while she’s focused on being the best mum she can be, her fans stand firmly by her side — as they always have.

Now, with baby No. 2 on the way, we can’t help but wonder what the future holds for Megan and Oliver’s growing family. Could this baby be the start of a new chapter filled with even more football-filled weekends, giggles, and boy-mum moments? Only time will tell.
