Laura Whitmore has shared a candid glimpse of life after giving birth, posing in her “postpartum knickers” and bra just days after welcoming her second child.
The former Love Island presenter, 41, recently announced that she and husband Iain Stirling had welcomed their new baby, who arrived “unexpectedly early” and with what Laura described as “dramatic flair”.
Taking to Instagram, the Irish star posted a mirror selfie in her underwear with a cardigan draped over her shoulders, joking that “hot girl summer looks a bit different” this year.
Laura praised her body after pregnancy and birth, telling followers she had “never been more impressed or appreciative” of what it had done.
“Women are bloody superheroes,” she wrote, adding that every recovery journey looks different — but “wearing big girl pants helps”.
She also joked that after growing, birthing and feeding a baby, “surely men could have taken one of those jobs”.
The presenter was quickly met with messages of support from fans and famous friends, including singer Anastacia, who praised her for still looking stylish.
Laura, who announced her pregnancy in February after keeping it private for months, has long spoken openly about postpartum body positivity.
After the birth of her first child in 2021, she urged people not to compare mothers’ bodies, reminding women to support one another through recovery and motherhood.
