Kylie Minogue has hinted that she could launch a major 40th anniversary tour in 2027 or 2028, marking four decades since the songs that first turned her into a global pop star.
The 58-year-old singer, best known for hits including Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, said the timing would make sense because The Loco-motion was released in Australia in 1987, while I Should Be So Lucky became a worldwide hit toward the end of 1988.
Speaking to Rolling Stone UK, Kylie suggested the anniversary tour could happen across 2027 and 2028, giving fans hope that a huge celebration of her career is on the way.
The update comes shortly after the release of her self-titled Netflix documentary, Kylie, which sees the star reflect on her remarkable journey from Neighbours actress to one of the most successful Australian artists of all time.
In the series, Kylie also opens up about deeply personal moments, including IVF and her health struggles.
The singer first battled breast cancer in 2005 and underwent surgery and chemotherapy. She later revealed that she faced another private breast cancer diagnosis in 2021, choosing at the time to keep the ordeal away from the public eye.
Kylie admitted she felt like “a shell of a person” during that period and did not want to leave the house. Thankfully, she has since said she is doing well and hopes her honesty will encourage women to attend regular check-ups.
Despite everything she has faced, Kylie appears focused on the future. After nearly 40 years in the spotlight, the pop icon is not slowing down — and her next big tour could become one of the most emotional celebrations of her career.
