Kylie Kelce Talks Self-Love and Role Model Status: “Even When I Don’t Feel Like It, I Speak Positively About Myself” 💖

Kylie Kelce, 33, is determined to lead by example for her four young daughters, showing them the importance of speaking positively about themselves—even when it’s difficult. The Not Gonna Lie podcast host, who shares daughters Finnley (10 months), Bennett (2), Elliotte (4), and Wyatt (6) with husband Jason Kelce, recently opened up about the power of self-love and how motherhood has shaped her approach to confidence.

Kylie revealed that despite sometimes struggling with negative thoughts, she strives to maintain a positive self-image, knowing her daughters look up to her. “I really try my best to make sure that I speak positively about myself, even on the days that I don’t necessarily feel it,” she explained.

Kylie, who has long been a proponent of self-confidence, recognizes that the way she talks about herself has a significant impact on her daughters. “Motherhood has forced me into the idea that I do need to make sure that I’m speaking positively about myself,” she said. “Because making sure that girls are confident not only sets them up to be happier, but they will also have a more joyful feeling in life.”

By modeling self-love, Kylie hopes to equip her girls with the tools to handle negative influences and build lasting confidence. She explained that by surrounding them with positive messages, her daughters will be able to dismiss harmful remarks and remain grounded in their self-worth. “When some silly person somewhere along their way decides to try and switch up the messaging, they’ve had so much joy just compounded into their ears that it drowns it out,” she said.

Her journey toward embracing her own body image has also been shaped by her experiences as a young athlete. Standing at 5’11”, Kylie once struggled with feelings of insecurity, especially as she played field hockey. However, she quickly recognized that her body was an asset, using her height and strong legs to her advantage in the sport.

Kylie’s commitment to self-love and confidence has also extended to her partnership with Dove, which will feature a commercial during the 2026 Super Bowl. Through her ongoing work, she continues to inspire others, especially her daughters, to value themselves and embrace their unique qualities.
