Kylie and Jason Kelce have been sharing some candid moments about their parenting life, and Halloween is no exception! On the latest episode of Kylie’s Not Gonna Lie podcast, the couple got real about whether it’s too soon for their 7-month-old daughter, Finnley, to join in on trick-or-treating this year. While the parents of four clearly love Halloween, they couldn’t quite agree on what’s appropriate for their baby. 🍬
“I think it’s too early. I think we should not be taking a seven-month-old trick-or-treating,” Kylie shared with a laugh, explaining that she wasn’t keen on the idea of their youngest participating in the usual Halloween candy collection. 🎃 She added, “Yes, dress the baby up. Yes, take the baby around. But like, are we accepting candy?”
Jason, always the fun-loving dad, disagreed a bit, saying, “I don’t think it’d be the end of the world if they had some chocolate, to be honest with you. As long as it’s not a choking hazard.” 😆 While his laid-back approach might have made some parents chuckle, Kylie was quick to clarify: “I want to be clear on that. We’re not feeding our child copious amounts of sugar at 7 months old!”
Kylie also joked that Jason should know what babies can eat considering they’ve already got three other daughters—Bennett (2), Elliotte (4), and Wyatt (6)—running around. Jason teased, “Melt it down and let them drink the chocolate if you wanted to, but I don’t think it’s probably a good idea.” 🍫
Despite the sweet debate over candy, Kylie’s plan is to let Finnley enjoy the festive fun by dressing her up and taking her out for a walk, but without the usual doorbell-ringing and candy collecting. “You can just strap them into a carrier or roll them around in their little stroller and have a little sippy sip,” Kylie said with a smile, giving us major #HalloweenGoals vibes.
As a mom of four, Kylie also shared some behind-the-scenes chaos of picking out costumes for her daughters. “It’s a mission,” she confessed. “Typically, I like to have a three-week rule for the girls giving me their costume that they would like. But you know what three weeks is in terms of a 6-year-old, a 4-year-old, and a 2-year-old? It’s forever.” 😂
Beyond costumes, Kylie shared adorable moments of her daughters getting into the Halloween spirit. In some Instagram clips, Kylie was seen asking her girls for decorating ideas for their pumpkins, leading to some creative ghost and bat designs. And of course, costume prep included some classic Halloween excitement, with the girls eagerly jumping in to help pick out their costumes. 👗✨
As the Kelce family prepares for Halloween, it’s clear that Kylie and Jason are fully embracing the holiday, even if it means some playful disagreements over candy. Whether it’s dressing up or deciding who can enjoy the chocolate, the Kelces are making this Halloween one to remember. 🎃
