Kaye Adams is reportedly preparing to take legal action against the BBC following her departure from Radio Scotland after 15 years.
The Loose Women presenter was removed from her weekday morning programme amid allegations about her workplace behaviour, which she strongly denies.
Claims reportedly included throwing a writing instrument, using an offensive word and criticising an intern. Adams has described the accusations as untrue and said she is heartbroken that her long BBC career has been reduced to disputed allegations.
Sources close to the presenter claim she was treated unfairly and did not receive adequate support in what they described as a difficult working environment.
Adams has reportedly hired a lawyer to examine her options, while ITV has continued to support her.
