I had to appear on live television without you, and it made me look foolish and awful.’” She added, “It’s no wonder people have opinions about you… and I agree with them.”
Katie also admitted that she was unsure whether Lee was genuinely able to leave Dubai. “If you can’t come to the UK, or if there’s any restriction, that’s fine. Just tell me. I need to know what’s happening,” she said. She made it clear that if he failed to demonstrate he could travel, she would no longer visit him in Dubai herself. “I told him, ‘If you don’t come to the UK this time, then what’s going on? Tell me because I can’t fly to Dubai right now. I have family, children, and work to manage here.’”

Lee Andrews later responded via social media, denying claims that he was being detained at Dubai International Airport. He posted a video showing himself at the terminal and confirmed he was on his way to the UK. “I’m flying to see my wife, who did an amazing job on Good Morning Britain today. I had a few urgent matters to attend to, so I couldn’t make the performance,” he explained.
