Katie Price has finally broken her silence after two harrowing weeks, revealing that she has spoken to her “missing” husband, Lee Andrews. The former glamour model, 47, said Lee, 43, contacted her this morning from Dubai’s notorious Al Awir prison—the first time they had spoken since his mysterious disappearance.
Lee reportedly told Katie he had been arrested and was being held on suspicion of espionage. Al Awir, nicknamed Dubai’s Alcatraz, is infamous for its brutal conditions, housing murderers, terrorists, and dangerous criminals in overcrowded cells.
“I have found him—he is alive, and he is okay,” Katie told The Sun. “I told him how worried I had been and told him I loved him. It was very rushed, but he said the authorities thought he was a spy. I don’t know much more than that right now.”
The couple, who married in January after a whirlwind romance, faced a terrifying ordeal when Lee vanished. Katie had begged followers for help, while his family reported him missing to the British embassy. Lee had previously sent distressing videos showing himself hooded and tied, claiming he had been kidnapped en route to London.
Lee’s father, Peter Andrews, has reportedly helped facilitate a brief call from the prison, confirming that Lee is being detained but is unharmed. Sources indicate he may be released soon after paying a four-figure fine.

Despite the chaos, Katie celebrated a small victory on the same day she spoke to her husband, coinciding with eldest son Harvey’s 24th birthday. She also shared emotional messages on social media reflecting the pain and love she felt during Lee’s disappearance.
Lee, a well-known bodybuilder in Dubai, had been keeping a low profile prior to his arrest, moving out of his apartment and remaining absent from his regular gyms. His Instagram activity, including following another woman, remains a point of intrigue amid his legal troubles.
