Jordan Brook, the TOWIE star, has shared an emotional health update from his hospital bed, revealing that he has been diagnosed with both viral meningitis and encephalitis. The 31-year-old reality star, who was admitted to the hospital earlier this week, opened up about the severe inflammation on his brain, admitting that his condition is worsening.
In a candid video posted on Instagram, Jordan described the severity of his health crisis: “I’ve been diagnosed with not one, but two viruses attacking similar parts of my body. I’ve got viral meningitis and encephalitis, which is inflammation of the brain and the lining around it. This isn’t something small or minor.”
Viral meningitis, an infection of the brain and spinal cord’s protective lining, can cause serious symptoms, while encephalitis, a rare but life-threatening inflammation of the brain, can have a profound impact on a person’s health and well-being. Jordan also shared that he has been undergoing various treatments, including CT scans, MRI scans, lumbar punctures, and round-the-clock care with antiviral medications, pain management, and seizure monitoring, as he faces a minor seizure risk.

A Long Road Ahead
Jordan’s condition has left him struggling with even the simplest of tasks. “The swelling on my brain is getting worse,” he admitted. “It’s really, really tough. Even day-to-day activities and normal things aren’t easy right now.”
He emphasized the importance of not believing the harmful conspiracies surrounding his diagnosis, as people have made unfounded claims about his condition. Jordan clarified, “This isn’t like a joke, or people are writing that I’m a lot worse than I am, with big C words being thrown around. It isn’t that, but the swelling on my brain is really bad.”
Focused on Family and Recovery

Despite the severity of his health battle, Jordan remained hopeful, turning his focus to his pregnant girlfriend, Sophie Kasaei. “My focus right now is simple: I need to get healthy,” he said, highlighting his desire to be a healthy father for their baby boy. Sophie, who has been by his side, shared her own update, expressing relief that Jordan isn’t contagious and that she could now visit him in the hospital.

Jordan’s message to his supporters was clear: “This won’t beat me. I will get out of this.” He expressed gratitude for the support he has received from his family, doctors, and fans during this challenging time.
As Jordan fights through his health crisis, his fans have rallied around him with messages of love and support. Sophie, in her own words, shared how amazed she is by Jordan’s strength, promising their family will overcome this together. “His strength is just amazing,” she wrote, “and we will get through this as a family.”

Jordan concluded his emotional message with a reminder about the unpredictability of life. “Life can throw curveballs when you least expect it. I will not be beaten.”
