Jesy Nelson has shared a touching new video of one of her baby daughters after reaching a major career milestone during an emotional chapter in her life.
The former Little Mix star, 34, celebrated as her Amazon Prime documentary climbed to number one in the platform’s viewing charts. Posting on Instagram Stories, Jesy shared a sweet clip of her daughter Ocean alongside the TV screen showing her documentary in the top spot.
“Still can’t believe it, thank you everyone,” she wrote.
Jesy welcomed twin daughters Ocean Jade and Story Monroe with ex-boyfriend Zion Foster in May 2025. The girls were born prematurely, and last month Jesy revealed they had been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1, also known as SMA1.
The condition affects the muscles and can cause serious breathing, swallowing and movement difficulties. Jesy and Zion have said the diagnosis has been devastating, with Zion describing the experience as “traumatic.”
Her documentary, Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix, follows her life after leaving the band in 2020, as well as her journey into motherhood. The series also shows her relationship with Zion before the pair later split following the birth of their twins.
While celebrating the documentary’s success, Jesy is also fighting for change. She has called for SMA to be added to the NHS newborn heel prick test, saying earlier screening could help babies receive treatment sooner.
The singer launched a petition demanding wider testing, which has now passed 120,000 signatures. In an emotional video, Jesy was seen crying and hugging friends as the campaign reached a major milestone.
She thanked supporters, saying she could not put into words how grateful she was, adding that she believes they can “make change” together.
For now, Jesy has put music on hold as she focuses on her daughters and her campaign. Speaking on Heart FM, she admitted she would “never say never” to returning to music, but said her girls are her main priority.
After years in the spotlight, Jesy is now facing one of the most personal battles of her life — but her documentary success and growing campaign show just how much public support remains behind her.
