Jessie J Declares Victory Over Breast Cancer After Emotional Battle
Pop superstar Jessie J has shared an inspiring update with fans, revealing that she is officially cancer-free a year after being diagnosed with breast cancer and undergoing surgery. The 38-year-old singer and mother of two-year-old Sky described the overwhelming relief and emotion she felt upon receiving the life-changing news.

In an emotional post on Instagram, Jessie J wrote: “RESULTS ARE IN AND I AM CANCER FREE‼️😭 I sobbed for hours and then exhaled for the first time in a year.” She admitted to feeling anxious ahead of the hospital visit: “Honestly, I was really scared.”

Following successful surgery, Jessie confirmed that the tumour had not spread and she was able to fully recover. She reflected on the support of her family, including her mother and partner Chanan, as well as the joy of watching her son remain the same lively, untroubled child. “I’m having more downtime and catching up with friends than ever. Mom lives with us, Sky is still Sky, Chanan keeps me safe, and messages are 10/10,” she said.

Fans and fellow artists flooded the post with congratulations. Becky Hill commented: “Stay strong, JJ — full of energy and inspiration. Beating cancer is truly admirable ❤️.” Kimberley Walsh added: “Absolutely wonderful news.”

Jessie J first shared her early-stage breast cancer diagnosis in June last year and has been transparent about her journey ever since, documenting the highs and lows for fans. Her triumphant recovery stands as a powerful testament to resilience, hope, and the importance of early detection.
