Jerry Hall has opened up about the secrets behind her youthful look as she prepares to turn 70 — and her advice is anything but conventional.
The legendary supermodel, 69, appears in a striking new British Vogue shoot, confidently posing in heels and showing the same glamour that made her one of fashion’s most recognisable faces.
In the interview, Jerry shared that her routine is built around simple pleasures rather than strict beauty rules. She credits sleep, water, gardening and avoiding dessert as some of her habits, but also admits she does not go to the gym and enjoys a daily glass of rosé.
Most notably, Jerry said she has no interest in Botox or fillers, insisting she is comfortable with ageing naturally. She said she does not want to look unnatural and believes wrinkles are part of growing older.
The former model also pushed back against the idea that women should cut their hair short or dress plainly as they age. Jerry argued that older women should still feel free to dress beautifully, wear what suits their body and enjoy their appearance with confidence.
Away from fashion, Jerry reflected on her personal life, including her past relationships with Mick Jagger and Rupert Murdoch. While she remains on friendly terms with Jagger, with whom she shares four children, she admitted she has not stayed close to Murdoch following their 2022 divorce.
Now happily single, Jerry said she enjoys men’s company but has no desire to live with a partner again.
With her milestone birthday approaching, Jerry’s message is clear: ageing does not mean disappearing — it means living boldly, honestly and on your own terms.
