Adam J Woodward, best known for his role as Brody Hudson on Hollyoaks, has shared exciting news with fans: he and his partner are expecting their first child together.
The 33-year-old actor revealed the happy news on Instagram with a sweet black-and-white baby scan photo, alongside a tiny baby grow and a pair of booties. He wrote over the picture: “It’s official, baby Woodward due… coming August 2026.” A second shot captured a tender moment as Adam kissed his partner’s growing baby bump, captioning it: “Incoming badass.”
Fans and former co-stars rushed to congratulate the couple. Jessica Fox commented, “Congratulations ❤️,” while actor Billy Price added a heart emoji. Hollyoaks actress Jessamy Stoddart also shared her excitement, writing: “Ahhhh I’m so excited for you.”
Adam joined Hollyoaks in 2017 as the hunky Brody, a role that earned him the 2019 British Soap Award for Best Male Dramatic Performance. His character met a dramatic end in a 2021 hit-and-run storyline, leaving fans shocked. Prior to that, he made a brief guest appearance in Emmerdale in 2015 and returned to the soap in 2017 playing a different character, Nathan.
While little is publicly known about Adam’s current partner, he previously dated fellow Hollyoaks co-star Sophie Porley, who played Ellie Nightingale, before their split in 2020. Now, Adam is set to embark on a new, joyous chapter as he prepares for fatherhood.
