The 51-year-old actress, who plays AFC Richmond boss Rebecca Welton in the hit Apple TV+ series, described her working relationship with Jason as an “ongoing love-hate relationship.”

Jason, 50, stars as Ted Lasso and also co-created and co-wrote the award-winning show.She said: 'There¿s always going to be a bit of give-and-take within a scene, because of the nature of how Sudeikis works... He and I have an ongoing love-hate relationship that he changes it last minute'

Speaking about the way scenes often evolve during filming, Hannah said there is always “give-and-take” because of how Jason works creatively.Ted Lasso garnered 283 million viewing hours and tells the story of an American football coach who is hired to manage a British soccer team and while some suspected that Ted and Rebecca would end up together, they haven't - at least yet

She explained that he often hears a scene in the room and then makes changes on the spot, meaning the cast has to adapt quickly.

“With that boy, you’ve got to roll with the punches,” she said.

The comments come after reports that season three faced delays linked to production issues, including repeated script rewrites.

Despite the challenges, Hannah made it clear she still values the show’s creative process and praised its refusal to follow predictable storylines.

She also said she was happy Ted and Rebecca did not become a traditional romantic couple, insisting their bond can be seen as soulmate-level without needing romance.

Away from Ted Lasso, Hannah also spoke about her charity work with Make-A-Wish UK and her strong views against actors having their performances altered by AI.
