Freddy Brazier has revealed that Mother’s Day is the most challenging time of year for him, as he continues to cope with the loss of his beloved mother, Jade Goody. The 21-year-old influencer shared how he finds solace by visiting his mother’s grave, particularly now, as he prepares to welcome his first child. Jade tragically passed away from cervical cancer on Mother’s Day in 2009, when Freddy was just four years old.
Reflecting on how he would have spent the day with his mum, Freddy confessed, “I’ve often looked at people out with their mums on Mother’s Day and thought, ‘You’re so lucky… I wish I could have a special day with my mum.'” Despite the pain, Freddy is finding comfort in his own way by confiding in his late mother at her gravestone, sharing the joyous news of becoming a father.
“I told her what was going on with the baby and how I am feeling, but sometimes I struggle talking to a headstone,” Freddy admitted. Although he continues to grieve, he remains hopeful for the future, especially as he prepares for the arrival of his baby daughter in April.
Freddy, who is expecting the child with his pregnant ex, Holly Swinburn, revealed that he is determined to be a great father.
