East 17 Star Blair Dreelan Marries Dancer Sophie Hind at King Charles’ Wedding Venue in Lavish Three-Ceremony Celebration
East 17 star Blair Dreelan has married his long-term partner Sophie Hind in a spectacular celebration featuring three separate ceremonies.
The 41-year-old singer and his dancer fiancée, who have been together for 13 years, marked their marriage with a church blessing, an official civil ceremony and a lavish reception attended by 170 close friends and relatives.
Their romantic celebrations began at All Saints’ Church in Windsor, where Blair and Sophie received a blessing in front of their families.
The couple later legally tied the knot at Windsor Guildhall — the historic venue where King Charles and Queen Camilla held their civil wedding ceremony in 2005.
They completed their three-part wedding celebrations on Monday with an elegant reception at St Audries Park in Somerset.
Surrounded by 100 acres of picturesque countryside, the grand Victorian estate provided a breathtaking backdrop as the newlyweds reaffirmed their commitment to one another in front of their loved ones.
Sophie, a professional dancer who has previously worked with pop superstar Dua Lipa, looked radiant as she showcased two striking bridal outfits during the celebrations.
For the civil ceremony, she wore a playful white mini dress featuring a fitted bodice and dramatic flared skirt.
The bride appeared delighted as she posed beside Blair outside the historic Windsor venue, with the couple sharing affectionate moments after officially becoming husband and wife.
Sophie later changed into a magnificent strapless gown for the main wedding reception.
The show-stopping dress featured an elaborate tiered skirt, which had been carefully arranged to resemble delicate flower petals.
She completed her romantic bridal look with a sweeping veil that flowed behind her as she walked through the grounds of the country estate.
Blair looked equally sophisticated in a sharply tailored black suit as he posed alongside his new wife.
The newlyweds were photographed smiling and embracing against the venue’s woodland scenery, while several dramatic pictures showed Sophie’s impressive gown trailing behind her.
They also posed inside the estate’s Victorian orangery, where the glass walls and period architecture created an elegant setting for their wedding portraits.
The celebrations marked the latest chapter in Blair and Sophie’s relationship, which began more than a decade ago.
Blair proposed during a romantic trip to Reykjavík, Iceland, in 2023 after the couple had been dating for ten years.
He later shared photographs from the unforgettable proposal on Instagram, revealing that he had asked Sophie to marry him beneath the spectacular Northern Lights.
Before joining East 17, Blair first rose to public attention as a member of boyband 4th Ba5e, who appeared on The X Factor in 2004.
Six years later, he helped write Shout for England, the official song released in support of the England football team ahead of the 2010 World Cup.
Blair joined East 17 in April 2011 and toured with the group as they promoted their comeback single Back to the Future.
However, he left the band several months later because of existing contractual commitments. An album featuring songs he had recorded with the group was subsequently unable to be released.
Blair later stepped away from performing and moved into artist management.
He currently works with girl group Sweet Love, who are signed to Greenback Records, the music label founded by MMA star Conor McGregor.
East 17 have experienced numerous line-up changes since becoming one of Britain’s most recognisable boybands during the 1990s.
The original group consisted of Tony Mortimer, Brian Harvey, John Hendy and Terry Coldwell.
They achieved chart success with hits including Stay Another Day, House of Love and If You Ever, selling millions of records and earning a loyal following across the UK.
However, the band’s original line-up began to fall apart after lead singer Brian was dismissed in 1997 following controversial comments about ecstasy use.
Terry is now the only remaining member from the original line-up and continues to tour under the East 17 name alongside Joe Livermore and Robbie Craig.
For Blair, however, attention was firmly focused on his new wife as the couple celebrated their marriage in unforgettable style.
After 13 years together and three romantic ceremonies, Blair and Sophie appeared overjoyed as they began their next chapter as husband and wife.
