Eamonn Holmes, 66, Rushed to Hospital After Suffering Stroke – Recovery Underway

Television presenter Eamonn Holmes, 66, has been rushed to the hospital after suffering a stroke, just weeks after a concerning public appearance where he appeared to fall asleep on air. Holmes, known for his role on This Morning and now GB News, was taken ill on Tuesday and has since been under medical care.

Eamonn, who has faced ongoing health issues in recent years, including herniated discs and hip dislocations, had already been using a wheelchair following surgery. His health struggles have been well documented, with Holmes himself stating in the past that he had been dealing with chronic pain and muscle paralysis.

In his most recent appearance, Holmes joked about his condition following his “falling asleep” incident during a live interview, attributing it to looking down at his microphone rather than being asleep. His health issues have sparked widespread concern, especially after his previous struggles in 2021.
