Danniella Westbrook has revealed she is facing another painful chapter in her long road to recovery, admitting she still needs six more procedures over the next 18 months before her face is fully repaired.
The former EastEnders star, 52, has already undergone major reconstructive surgery in Dubai, including a full face, neck and brow lift, as well as work on her lip and nose.
But despite proudly showing fans the results of what she described as a life-changing transformation, Danniella has now confirmed her journey is far from over.

Speaking on Vanessa Feltz’s Channel 5 show, the actress admitted she is preparing for another operation this week — and this one sounds especially daunting.
Danniella explained that doctors need to rebuild part of her facial structure after years of damage linked to her past cocaine addiction and osteoporosis.
She said one side of her face has been left without enough bone support, meaning surgeons may eventually have to insert a metal cheekbone.
The admission was raw, honest and deeply emotional.
“I’ve been for umpteen surgeries,” she said, revealing that she is now approaching surgery number six.
She added that the process is “quite scary,” especially because the work is not simply cosmetic. For Danniella, these operations are about repair, reconstruction and trying to feel comfortable in her own skin again.

The actress said she currently has filler in parts of her face, but doctors still need to rebuild the underlying structure properly.
That means more surgery.
More recovery.
More waiting.
And more emotional strength. 💔
Danniella also revealed that one of her upcoming procedures will involve correcting her lip, which she said has been pulled upwards. She explained that she is now in surgery every two-and-a-half to three months as doctors continue the complicated process of rebuilding her face step by step.
For many fans, the most heartbreaking moment came when she admitted: “I hate looking in the mirror.”

Those words cut through the glamour often associated with celebrity surgery.
This is not about vanity.
This is about a woman who has lived through addiction, public humiliation, physical damage, cruel trolling and years of personal battles — and is still trying to rebuild herself.
Danniella has never hidden the fact that her past choices caused her enormous pain. She has spoken openly about her cocaine addiction and how it damaged her nose and facial structure, leaving her needing repeated medical work.
But what makes her story powerful is not just the damage.
It is the fact that she is still here.

Still sober.
Still fighting.
Still trying to create a better life.
During the interview, Danniella also opened up about the vicious abuse she receives online, saying some trolls have told her to die or kill herself.
Yet she insisted that alongside the cruelty, she has also received huge support from kind people who want to see her recover and thrive.
That support clearly matters.
For years, Danniella has been judged harshly in public. Her face, her past, her addiction and her mistakes have all been picked apart in headlines. But behind the gossip is a real person who has been through more than most people could imagine.
And now, at 52, she is trying to move forward with honesty.
She said she is single, happy, busy and enjoying her life. She also revealed she still has her faith, remains sober and continues attending meetings.

After everything she has survived, Danniella said waking up every day and breathing feels like a result.
That sentence says everything.
She is not pretending life is perfect.
She is not pretending recovery is easy.
She is simply grateful to still be standing. 🕊️
Danniella also joked about wanting to appear on Celebs Go Dating, admitting that she would not mind finding love again — especially if it came in the form of Professor Green, whom she called her celebrity crush.
It was a lighter moment in an otherwise emotional interview, showing that despite the pain, her humour and personality remain intact.
For longtime viewers, Danniella will always be remembered as Sam Mitchell in EastEnders, the role that made her famous when she was still a teenager. But fame came with pressure, temptation and a destructive lifestyle that later cost her dearly.
Now, decades later, her story is no longer just about the bright young soap star who became a tabloid headline.
It is about survival.
It is about damage and repair.
It is about facing the mirror even when it hurts.
And it is about finding the courage to keep going when the world has watched every stumble.
Danniella Westbrook still has a long road ahead. Six more procedures, 18 more months of treatment, and more painful recoveries before doctors believe her face can be fully repaired.
But if her journey has shown anything, it is that she is not giving up.
She has lost confidence.
She has lost bone.
She has lost years to addiction and scrutiny.
But she has not lost the will to fight.
And for many fans, that may be her most powerful transformation of all. 💛
