Dame Shirley Bassey has reassured fans after undergoing surgery on her hand earlier this year.
The Welsh music legend, 89, had the operation in March after revealing she was in so much pain that she could no longer reply to fan mail properly.
Now, the iconic singer has shared a positive update from Spain, where she is enjoying time with family.
Posting a smiling photo from a famous restaurant in Madrid, Dame Shirley showed her bandaged hand and told followers her recovery is “coming along slowly.”
She wrote that she is still finding it difficult to write and has even had to eat with her left hand, joking that it “helps with my diet.”
The star also revealed the restaurant had honoured her with a chair bearing her name — a touching gesture that delighted fans.
Supporters quickly filled the comments with love, praising her glamorous appearance and sending healing wishes.
One fan said she looked “spectacular as always,” while another joked that every major city should have a throne reserved for her.
The update comes after Dame Shirley recently celebrated an extraordinary 70 years in showbusiness.
She thanked fans around the world for decades of love and support, but apologised that she can no longer personally respond to fan mail while recovering from surgery.
Despite the setback, the legendary performer appeared cheerful, grateful and full of warmth as she continued her recovery surrounded by loved ones.
